I’m a partner in the Artists’ Gallery, an 18-member co-op in Lambertville, NJ. In April we were invited to take our work on the road – to the spacious halls of the Clarkson S. Fisher U.S. Courthouse, 402 East State Street in Trenton, NJ. The work will be up until September 15, so please visit if you’re in and around this historic river area. See the Artists’ Gallery website for info, images, and all the details you’ll need.
The Artists’ Gallery is a partnership of 18 established and regionally represented artists with national and international reputations. The Gallery is located at 18 Bridge Street in the heart of historic Lambertville, New Jersey, and is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm and at other times by appointment, 609-397-4588.

This is one of my favorite flower paintings of alliums and irises, that I’ve never exhibited publicly – until now. I’m showing this and a few other garden-themed paintings at the Artists’ Gallery for this month as we are participating in the Hidden Gardens of Lambertville Tour.
Check out the Artists’ Gallery link for details! And, don’t forget, 15% of the sales go to the Kalmia Club, one of the oldest women’s clubs in New Jersey, whose volunteers are dedicated to education, leadership training, and community service.
Please email me for purchase of this painting. Better yet – visit the Artists’ Gallery!

It begins tonight! “Meditations on Nature” is a two-person exhibition about Nature. It features my beach stone paintings, silverpoint drawings of animal skulls, glass spheres, and the beautifully detailed landscape paintings of my fellow artist Michael Schweigart. I’ll also be introducing four bamboo mosaics, showing my recent explorations into the elegant world of bamboo. I’ll post more photos of this show soon!
Come Visit! The show starts tonight and continues until June 5, with an opening reception Saturday, May 14, from 5-8pm, at Artists’ Gallery, 18 Bridge Street, Lambertville, NJ.

Lately, bamboo has been used in all three of my chosen mediums: in paint, silverpoint, and wood. It’s a beautiful subject that I’m just beginning to explore in my mosaic work. As an artist, it’s thrilling to follow these paths that appear along the journey.

This is another in my Meditations series. With all the recent art openings and holiday energy in the air, I escaped to my studio and decided to paint these two stones. I’m never quite sure if I choose the subject or it chooses me, but these two had a calming effect as I sculpted their forms in paint.
Please contact Canal Frame-Crafts Gallery, for purchase of this painting. I designed and painted the frame for this piece.
Email me with your questions and comments, which are always welcome!
