“Behind the Scenes”

Silverpoint Drawing
5.5×7.5″ lavender-gray prepared paper

Timeless and endless. There is no end in sight to the beach stone compositions! That’s me behind the scenes, reflected in the shiny black ball.

This silverpoint drawing is on lavender-gray prepared paper. Those of you visiting The Art Fly blog may have noticed the various tints I use in preparing the silverpoint paper/panels. They provide a contrast to the white highlights that I like to add. I’m presently enjoying the pale purple tint for the beach stones. Other tints that you’ll see popping up here are blue-gray, green-gray, pale coral, and pale ocher. I’m constantly experimenting with colors, formulas, and types of paper.

Please email me if you are interested in this silverpoint.
